Coming this fall from DRAMEDY PRODUCTIONS: an all-new animated series...VISION MAN BEYOND. Set in the far-off future of the events of the 2006 movie VISION MAN: EYE CONTACT, VISION MAN BEYOND tells the story of Vision Man in the year 2020. Now Vision Man has guns, goggles, and an updated costume to show his new slimmed-down physique and rock-hard abs. Returning to their characters are Jon Boon McNutt to voice Vision Man/Jeff Thompson, Teddy Michael Millikan to voice Boss Carl Leo, and Donny Byrd to mumble Greasy McGee. This new series will show Vision Man fight the problems of the future, such as COVID-19, skyrocketing unemployment, and toilet paper shortages. One powerful scene in the premiere episode has Vision Man warning President Trump, "Mr. President, I SEE a virus coming!" and Trump responds with, "I don't! Get out of here, you big-eyed freak! You got your ass handed to you by my good friend Carl Leo, so I'm not listening to anything you say, you loser! I like people who win fights!"</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
Today is the 20th wedding anniversary of Dramedy Productions alumnus Jay Chipman. But what made the day TRULY special for Jay two decades ago was that he had a run-in with a certain Dramedy Productions character: a character that he would eventually go on to play in a movie, even though he didn't know it at the time!<br />
<br />
At the time of Jay's wedding, we were in the planning stages for our first Star Wars movie, Star Wars: Quest for Vengeance. The main characters in the movie were going to be the same characters that some of us created & played years earlier in Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game by West End Games. We created those characters by picking a character template in the Roleplaying Game book and then giving the character a name. One of us, Jeremy Howard, picked the "Laconic Scout" template and named his character Jon Bon Nebula.<br />
<br />
So Jon Bon Nebula was going to be one of the main characters in our Star Wars movie. However, by the time we had decided to make the movie, we had lost touch with Jeremy, so someone else was going to have to play him. Jeremy wouldn't have played him anyway, since he didn't want to participate in the awesome hobby of amateur filmmaking like most of the rest of us did.<br />
<br />
The only two things Jeremy contributed to the creation of Bon Nebula was choosing a character template and naming him, so that left a wide open canvas for us to paint the character with. And with a name like Jon Bon Nebula, we figured he'd be a rock star (or jizz-wailer, in Star Wars speak). So we wound up casting Mitch Trotter as Bon Nebula. Mitch was a funny guy in real life, and he was going to play Bon Nebula as a crazy rock star. Since Bon Nebula was supposed to be a "laconic scout," we would just say that he was laconic earlier in his life, but had started to talk more by the time of the movie. 😉<br />
<br />
After casting Mitch as Bon Nebula, it was time for Jay's wedding. There were a few Dramedy Productions members in the wedding party besides Jay: Mitch, who was a groomsman; Tracy Walters, who was the usher for the groom; and Brad Blaylock, who was the usher for the bride. While at the wedding, Mitch, Tracy, and Brad signed the wedding guest book. While signing the book, it was decided that Bon Nebula's name should be signed in there, too! So Mitch decided that he would sign the book as Jon Bon Nebula. However, he didn't want Jay & his wife to know that he was the one who did it. He wanted to sign Jon's name far away from his real name, but there was no way to do that without signing it in the middle of nowhere. So he just signed it underneath Brad's name and said that he would disguise his handwriting. 🤣 We never told Jay about the signature, and he never said anything to us about it, either. If he's ever looked at his wedding guest book in the last 20 years, he saw it, and probably thought that it was pretty awesome that Jon Bon Nebula himself signed it. We're not sure how his wife handled it, though! 😄<br />
<br />

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: small;">Jon Bon Nebula's signature, written by Mitch Trotter, in Jay Chipman's wedding guest book. Above it is Brad Blaylock's signature, below it is some other dude's signature, and below that dude someone signed some initials, or random letters, or something. (Yeah, we've always been confused by that one.)</span></td></tr>

<br />
A few months later, we began shooting Quest for Vengeance. On our first day of shooting, Mitch played Darth Vader. At a later date, it was time for him to film one more scene as Vader and to film his scenes as Jon Bon Nebula. However, Mitch wound up dropping off the face of the earth! 🤯 No one could get in touch with him, and we never saw him again. 🤷 So anyway, Tracy Walters wound up finishing the role of Darth Vader. (Which wasn't hard to do, since Vader wears a helmet.) As for recasting Bon Nebula, guess who wound up getting the part? Why, it was Jay Chipman himself! Jon Bon Nebula's name being in Jay's wedding guest book turned out to be a premonition, which means that Jon's signature in his guest book should hold an extra-special place in Jay's heart. 💗Tracy Waltershttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11392245652334486261noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-111975259643441386.post-88796962194117408562019-06-16T22:58:00.003-05:002019-06-16T23:00:03.869-05:00Captain Ben on the Mississippi River in a Batman comic bookThe Vintage Batman 2019 Calendar by Asgard Press features a different vintage Batman comic book cover every month. This month's cover (the cover for June) is Detective Comics #90 from August 1944. The title of the issue's Batman story is "Crime Between the Acts!" It tells the story of a showboat called the Mississippi Mermaid that travels down the Mississippi River. The troupe aboard the ship entertains the river folk at the little towns along the river, and during the intermissions of their shows, the troupe sneaks off the ship and robs the towns blind. That is, until they're stopped by Batman and Robin! But the funny thing is that the captain of the ship (and leader of the criminals) is named Captain Ben!<br />

Captain Ben, of course, was also the name of a character in our Star Trek series of movies. Our Captain Ben was Captain Cobalt Ben of the Starship U.S.S. Excalibur, played by Tracy Walters.<br />

There's another funny thing in this issue. In this story, the boat travels the Mississippi River and stops at little towns along the way. The city where most of the cast & crew of Dramedy Productions' various productions is from is a city called Osceola, Arkansas...which just happens to be a small town along the Mississippi River! As a matter of fact, the climactic lightsaber duels at the end of our movie Star Wars: Quest for Vengeance were filmed at the Mississippi River at Osceola! Freaky...</div>

They found out that some sets from fan film project Starship Exeter were being stored nearby in Arkansas, so they got permission to film on them. We've made some Star Trek fan films ourselves here in Arkansas based on the Starship Excalibur, but we've never had sets that looked that good. So we asked if we, too, could use the sets, and they said no! But we here at Dramedy Productions know that money talks, so when we waved a few Benjamins under their noses, they quickly changed their tune! Ted L. Millikan passed away Sunday, July 23, 2017. He played the role of optometrist Dr. Dashit in the 2006 movie <i>Vision Man: Eye Contact</i>. During the time of <i>Vision Man</i>'s production, he was also the manager of River Manor Apartments, and he allowed us to film a great portion of the movie there. He was the father of Ted M. Millikan and father-in-law of Krystal Millikan, both fellow Dramedy Productions crew members. Dylan was best known for playing Jedi wannabe Robert Kraig in our Star Wars series of movies. Dylan took over the role of Kraig from Jon Boon McNutt, who had originally created the character for playing in Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game. Dylan loved playing Robert Kraig so much that Robert was included in Dylan & his wife's wedding slideshow! (Just go to the 3:10 mark if you want to go straight to Kraig and skip all the mushy stuff.) Happy Anniversary, Dylan!<br />

Through the Wormhole with Morgan Freeman airs its series finale tonight on the Science Channel. It aired its first episode in 2010. But we've used that title a lot further back than that! Our 2nd Star Trek movie has used that title since the 1990s! Now that Morgan Freeman's show is about to be finished, maybe there won't be so much confusion when our Through the Wormhole is released on YouTube in the near future!Tracy Waltershttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11392245652334486261noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-111975259643441386.post-90616789929935146282017-04-01T02:17:00.000-05:002017-04-01T02:20:01.822-05:00Vision Man to be in Justice League movie<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Last week, Warner Bros. released the awesome new trailer for the Justice League movie. They also released a new hashtag for the movie, #UniteTheLeague. But there was another hashtag used a couple of years ago associated with the movie called #UniteTheSeven, which made fans wonder if it meant the Seven Seas (as in Aquaman), or the seven original members of the Justice League. Well, today it has been revealed that they are talking about the latter. Of course, you have the five Leaguers that have been in all the previews, and you know that Superman will be coming back from the dead to join them. So who is the seventh Leaguer? No, not Green Lantern...no, not Martian Manhunter...it's the superhero who sees all when there's nothing in the way...Vision Man! To see the new trailer (even though there was just a new one last week) featuring Vision Man in the Justice League, click <a href="http://tracywalters.webs.com/moreinfo11.jpg" target="_blank">here</a>!</div>

Well, since <i>BvS</i> is such a smash hit at the box office, making a ton of money, Warner Bros. (who owns DC Comics) has contracted with Dramedy Productions to add OUR superheroes to their movies! As a matter of fact, they're even giving our heroes their own individual solo movies! The updated list of all the DC movies coming in the next few years (including our own) is below.<br />
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgaZD0qb4leZ5o_R3Ccea27ie15taIuXNKAwTFv_Tj2gJ1Hx7BeILviIwW1n7y5wO0dO6oT6Dn0GNcnscC0IVcPlVkyjfQU0TbVQW2cJ9eCfEl-6NUSE_OucntKEsamS1mvKPydaQdjnZrl/s1600/DC+Extended+Universe+%2526+Role-Playing+Game+movie+list.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="256" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgaZD0qb4leZ5o_R3Ccea27ie15taIuXNKAwTFv_Tj2gJ1Hx7BeILviIwW1n7y5wO0dO6oT6Dn0GNcnscC0IVcPlVkyjfQU0TbVQW2cJ9eCfEl-6NUSE_OucntKEsamS1mvKPydaQdjnZrl/s400/DC+Extended+Universe+%2526+Role-Playing+Game+movie+list.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
In 2017, Vision Man will be released. We've already made our own Vision Man movie, but Warner Bros. wants to give it the big budget treatment, so it will be remade, and will probably be a little longer than the 20 minutes our Vision Man movie was. Jon Boon McNutt will reprise the role and is currently pumping iron to get back into superhero shape!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
In 2018, Teddy Michael Millikan will play the role of his superhero Lightning Hawk. Ted told Warner Bros. that he is well known in Dramedy Productions as a jack of all trades, and let Warner Bros. know that he has been an actor, writer, production designer, photographer, fight choreographer, special effects artist, voiceover artist, and the glue that has held Dramedy together all these years. Warner Bros politely told him that acting will be all they need from him.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
In 2019, Zetaman will be released. Albert Riney, Jr. asked if he could film the role of his superhero in the summertime so that he wouldn't have to miss work teaching his kids, since he's a teacher. He says teaching is the most important job in the world, and he shouldn't have to deprive the kids of his excellent teaching abilities. The movie studio took one look at him and said, "You do things on OUR time, boy!" and flashed some big bucks his way. Al said, "Whoa, look at that money! Forget those kids, let's start filming!"</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
And in 2020, Jeremy McNutt will be playing the role of his superhero Darkshot. He asked the studio if his son Tyler could be in the movie too, since Jeremy named Tyler after the first name of Darkshot's secret identity, Tyler O'Hara! The studio thought that was cool, and happily obliged.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Not announced, but heavily rumored, is that after our characters all get the big screen treatment in their individual solo films, they will come together and form a team in a movie to be released in 2021. Tracy Walters would play the character that brings the superheroes together, as Tracy was the gamemaster in the role-playing game. His character would be like Maxwell Lord bringing together the Justice League International. </tbody></table>
<i><br /></i>
The movie <i>Creed</i> comes out on Blu-ray today. It is a spin-off and sequel to the <i>Rocky</i> film series, and tells the story of Apollo Creed's son. But did you know that our very own movie <i>Vision Man: Eye Contact</i> has a special connection to the character of Apollo Creed?<br />
<br />
The main villain in <i>Vision Man: Eye Contact </i>is the local crime boss of Vision Man's hometown of Boonville. And spoiler alert: Boss Leo winds up beating the crap out of Vision Man at the end of the movie.<br />
<br />
While trying to think of a name for the crime boss's character, I thought of Apollo Creed defeating Rocky Balboa at the end of the first <i>Rocky</i> movie. Rocky, the protagonist of his eponymous movie, and Vision Man, the protagonist of HIS eponymous movie, were both beaten at the end of their respective movies by their respective antagonists. (In Vision Man's case, horribly so!) So, I used an anagram of Apollo Creed, and came up with the name Carl Leo. Go ahead, rearrange the letters of Apollo Creed and see for yourself! When you do, you'll notice there are some letters left over. Those letters spell another word that might give you a clue about what Leo is the crime boss of.<br />
<br />
So is that why I had Boss Leo to put on some boxing gloves and use them as part of one segment of Vision Man's beatdown? I'd like to say it was, but actually I didn't even think of Apollo Creed being a boxer when I wrote that part. I was simply thinking of yet another funny way for Leo to knock the snot out of Vision Man. Later on, Jon Boon McNutt, the actor who played Vision Man, suggested that Boss Leo may have been a boxer in the past. Makes sense, considering that he also hit Vision Man's face like a punching bag at one point. Of course, Leo also employed the elbow drop on Vision Man in one instance, so maybe he used to be a wrestler, too.<br />
<br />
There is also a strange coincidence to this story. Apollo Creed was played by actor Carl Weathers. I've always known that was the name of the actor who played Creed, but it wasn't until I was writing this article that I realized that Carl is both the first name of the actor who played Creed, and the first name of the character of Boss Leo! Freaky, huh?</div>

<div style="text-align: left;">
Star Trek is bringing back its Strange New Worlds fan fiction writing contest. That means that anyone can write their own Star Trek story and submit it! So Dramedy Productions' writers need to get on the ball! We're looking at you, Jay Chipman (main writer of <i>Star Wars: Coruscant?</i>), Jon Boon McNutt (co-writer of <i>Vision Man: Eye Contact</i>), and Tracy Walters (co-writer of the aforementioned, plus sole writer of everything else). Oh, and we're even looking at you, Ted Millikan (writer of <i>Star Trek: Chicago</i>) and Dylan Kinney (writer of <i>Star Wars: Jedi Kwan Leep</i>), who wrote a story each for Dramedy, even though we just never did get around to producing them for some reason!<br />
<br />
Actually, come to think of it, Tracy did submit a story to Strange New Worlds a few years ago. Well, maybe this time, Tracy and the rest of his fellow Dramedy writers will all win prizes for their winning submissions!<br />
<br />
It's just too bad our writers can't use Dramedy Productions' own Star Trek characters; we'd be guaranteed to win spots in the contest if we could write about the awesome adventures of Captain Cobalt Ben, Commander Convor Tark, and the the crew of the Starship Excalibur!</div>

<br />
Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens will be coming to a theater near you on December 18, 2015. It will be the first Star Wars movie in theaters since The Walt Disney Company bought the Star Wars franchise. And it has just been announced that Dramedy Productions' own Star Wars characters, the Scar Destroyers, will be in the movie! However, with this announcement has come a bit of controversy.<br />
<br />
The five Scar Destroyers characters were originally created by a different person each to play in Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game by West End Games. Then, years later, a movie based on the characters was made, but in some cases, the characters were played by people who did not create them. Then, in the sequel, some of the characters changed actors again.<br />
<br />
Dramedy Productions doesn't pay its castmembers. The actors are in it because amateur filmmaking is a hobby the partakers enjoy during leisure time. But some of the actors have quit playing or never even started playing characters that they created or didn't create. But now, Disney is willing to pay the BIG BUCKS for some actors to play the Scar Destroyers. And so now, all the various people who have ever had anything remotely to do with these characters now suddenly want to play them again or for the first time! So Disney faced a really, really, really tough decision about who to cast.<br />
<br />
So let's run down the list of the five Scar Destroyers characters and the actors who played/never played them:<br />
<br />
1. PENZAR GRAT<br />
Tracy Walters created Penzar Grat for the RPG and played him in both movies, so no choice needed here.<br />
<br />

Ted Millikan created Ben Wolf for the RPG and played him in both movies, so no choice needed here, either.<br />

<br />
3. LEX NOVA<br />
Jeremy McNutt created this character for the RPG, but he left Dramedy years before the movie started production. So Kevin Shelby played Nova. Who should play Nova now??<br />

<br />
4. ROBERT KRAIG<br />
Jon Boon McNutt created this character for the RPG. McNutt left Dramedy years before the movie started production, so in the movie series, Kraig was played by Dylan Kinney. (McNutt did return to Dramedy after filming began and had other roles in the movie series.) However, Kinney dropped out of the second movie before finishing it, even though the footage he filmed was still used in the movie, to hilarious results. So who should play Kraig now??<br />
<br />

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: small;">Jon (Weird Beard)? Or Dylan (Weird Beard with java?)</span></td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<br />
<br />
5. JON BON NEBULA<br />
Jeremy Howard created this character for the RPG. Some time later, though, he dropped off the face of the earth. So Mitch Trotter agreed to play the character. Then he dropped off the face of the earth, too. So we had to cast someone else. That someone was Jay Chipman. Chipman left Dramedy before the sequel, though, so Donny Byrd played him instead. So who should play Bon Nebula now??<br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: small;">Actually, we don't know who's who in this picture, they all look so much like Jon Bon Nebula!</span></td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<br />
Well, don't get stressed out, because Disney has made a judgement in the casting fiasco.<br />
<br />
They have decided that picking an already-made character template in an RPG and then giving that character a name does not constitute much of a "creation," so the "creators" are out.<br />
<br />
This means Kevin Shelby will play Lex Nova.<br />
<br />
As for Robert Kraig, Disney finally realized that Kraig can't be in the new movie, because in the Scar Destroyers sequel, Kraig turned to the Dark Side and so then got brutally and horrifically murdered by Penzar Grat, Ben Wolf, Elan Rai, and Miko Von Edward's ghost.<br />
<br />
And as for Jon Bon Nebula, see who gets to play him in the new movie <a href="http://tracywalters.webs.com/moreinfo9.jpg">here</a>!Tracy Waltershttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11392245652334486261noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-111975259643441386.post-43759163849786648642015-04-01T18:02:00.000-05:002015-04-01T18:06:10.265-05:00McNutt brothers banned from making any more Dramedy Productions Star Wars moviesScott McNutt, who played Jedi Master Miko Von Edward in Star Wars: Quest for Vengeance, and his brother Jon Boon McNutt, who played Elan Rai in Star Wars: Beware the Dark Side, have been banned from appearing in any further Dramedy Productions Star Wars productions.<br />

"After seeing this picture, we must respectfully request these two heathens no longer be allowed in your Star Wars productions. We must protect our properties, both theme parks and movie franchises, as best as possible."</div>

<div>
Dramedy Productions then released its own statement:</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
"We will comply with your wishes. Scott McNutt's character, Miko Von Edward, is dead anyway, and as for Jon McNutt, there's a different actor playing Elan Rai in every movie, so it's no big loss with either of these actors. We really couldn't give a shit."</div>

Jon Jay, in the past, has played for the Memphis Redbirds, a Minor League baseball team. Memphis is the closest Minor League team to Dramedy Productions.</div>

A new comic book series from DC Comics begins Wednesday with the release of Superman/Wonder Woman #1. It details the relationship between The Man From Krypton and The Woman From Themyscira. (And they've been getting awfully friendly lately, if you know what I mean...) This reminded us of something Jeff Thompson (who would soon become Vision Man) once said, when he first discovered that he had become endowed with telescopic vision:<br />

The latest issue of Star Wars Insider magazine has two articles which each make one think of a different Dramedy Productions production! One article brings to mind the beginnings of the main characters from our Star Wars: The Scar Destroyers series, while the other article features a character's name that was used in Vision Man: Eye Contact.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjVL6jiXu6rNQAYdMJFZUQGf1uajhsXOINnX-CfhQZnLo4qeVJ5PwKQ3xOrFHWGfGUxONaHmMVugxnJXDckipWbwlaSiH6Agf9fOsd_-glgFkcSAokhksQNAA6-7uPHk5d2v3fTSmt9niks/s1600/role_play_1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjVL6jiXu6rNQAYdMJFZUQGf1uajhsXOINnX-CfhQZnLo4qeVJ5PwKQ3xOrFHWGfGUxONaHmMVugxnJXDckipWbwlaSiH6Agf9fOsd_-glgFkcSAokhksQNAA6-7uPHk5d2v3fTSmt9niks/s1600/role_play_1.jpg" height="275" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
The article "Rolling Initiative: The impact of Star Wars RPGs and how they shaped the Expanded Universe" relates to our Star Wars: The Scar Destroyers series of movies. The article explains how West End Games created Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game in 1987. The game was responsible for introducing many things into the Star Wars universe, including the names of alien species and the struggle between the Mon Calamari and the Quarren. So, what does this game have to do with The Scar Destroyers? Well, you see, in the early 1990s, Tracy Walters and his good buddies played Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game and each created a character based on the Character Templates that were found in the back of the book. A few years later, when Dramedy decided to make a Star Wars series of movies, Tracy Walters wanted to use the characters that he and his good pals had created from the game...and the rest is history! (By the way, this article is actually Part 1 of a 3-part series on Star Wars RPGs.)<br />
<br />
Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game also had the first mention of the Jedi Code. And who can forget Commander Ral Iney reciting THAT??<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
Another article, entitled "The Star Wars: Step into a galaxy both strange and familiar...," harkens to our movie Vision Man: Eye Contact. The article talks about a new comic book mini-series called The Star Wars, published by Dark Horse Comics. The Star Wars is based on George Lucas's original rough draft of Star Wars. Obviously, there are many differences between Lucas's original rough draft and the final movie. One difference is that in the original draft, Emperor Palpatine was called Cos Dashit. This is because when it came to a lot of the bad stuff in the movie, he "caused da shit." Well, in Vison Man: Eye Contact, we have an optometrist character named Dr. Dashit. Jeff Thompson wants to get his eyes checked, but Dr. Dashit forgets and tells Jeff they'll do it the next day. Jeff, determined to get his precious eyes checked right that very second, "checks himself out," gets struck by lightning while doing so, and thus becomes Vision Man. Which means that, in terms of the Vision Man movie, Dr. Dashit "caused da shit."<br />

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: small;">Dr. Dashit's causing of da shit may or may not have been a good thing, but Cos Dashit's causing of da shit was definitely bad.</span></td></tr>

Jon Boon McNutt, who played Vision Man in our 2006 blockbuster movie Vision Man: Eye Contact, has moved to South Dakota. However, Dramedy Productions is currently filming the Vision Man sequel, Vision Man: Double Vision. So since our base of operations is in Arkansas, one might think Jon could no longer play Vision Man, right? Well, one would be WRONG! Jon is filming his scenes for the new movie in South Dakota right now! He's even enlisted the help of some of his fellow South Dakotans to help! He will then be sending the footage to Dramedy Productions headquarters in Arkansas. His footage will then be integrated with other footage that is being shot around Arkansas, and voila...new Vision Man movie! <br />
We are currently in production on Star Wars: Beware the Dark Side, but Ted Millikan is ready for his super hero creation Lightning Hawk to be in a movie! Ted created Lightning Hawk many years ago for use in the DC Heroes Role-Playing Game (just as Jon Boon did for Vision Man), and is ready for his character to hit the big screen! But we're still making Star Wars, and Teddy was getting impatient! So we decided to put Lighning Hawk in Beware the Dark Side, played by Ted himself. He'll be a super hero teaming up with the Scar Destroyers of the Rebel Alliance, fighting the evil Galactic Empire. Ted wasn't too fond of having to do all the extra work playing Ben Wolf AND Lightning Hawk in the same movie, until we told him he would get twice the pay! Then he said, "Hell yeah!" (But what we didn't tell Ted is that twice nothing is still nothing.) So get ready, Empire...cause here comes LIGHTNING HAWK!! <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
Star Wars: The Phantom Menace came out in 3D at theaters a couple of months ago. But when it comes out later this year on Blu-ray 3D, George Lucas will be adding our very own audio parody Coruscant? into the film! He listened to our original production and loved it, and then he loved it even more when he saw that we added video to it, as documented <a href="http://dramedyproductions.blogspot.com/2008/04/coruscant-to-have-video-added-to-it.html" target="_blank">here!</a> He couldn't believe how much we all looked like the original actors! So he agreed to convert the scene to 3D and add it to the home video release. All of the cast & crew of Coruscant? love 3D movies, so we were thrilled! Anyway, we've just gotten an advanced copy of the Blu-ray 3D cover, as shown above. If you'd like to find out more about Coruscant? being added to The Phantom Menace, click <a href="http://tracywalters.webs.com/moreinfo6.jpg" target="_blank">here!</a>Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-111975259643441386.post-20108522657448058332012-02-04T23:51:00.002-06:002015-08-19T18:26:07.661-05:00Dramedy characters get Darth Maul-isized<i>Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace 3D</i> opens in theaters next week. Dramedy Productions has a couple of <i>Star Wars</i> productions of its own (with a third on the way). The official <i>Star Wars</i> website now has an application called "Darth Maul Me," which allows faces to be changed into lookalikes of Lord Maul himself. So we decided to see what some of Dramedy's most famous characters would look like...DARTH MAUL-ISIZED! This is what you call cross-promotion!<br />
